Used 1946 Cadillac Series 62 sedan for sale in homer, AK
Vehicle Description
The flat head V-8 engine runs unbelievably smooth and quiet. Everything works except the parking brake cable needs to be replaced. It has a 3-speed automatic transmission, and drives very smoothly.
The interior upholstery and carpeting has been re-done, and is in 9 out of 10 condition.
The body is about an 8 out of 10, however it desperately needs paint. Once painted it would be 10. I have stripped some stainless trim from the rocker panels and around the back window where I saw some minor rust streaks. Only one minor rust hole was found. It is located under the stainless steel trim below the back window (see picture). The battery box is also rusty. Other than that, this is a very solid and tight car. I have purchased new trim clips to put the trim back on once the car is painted.
The price is low as I recognize the car must be painted, but the price is firm, as once painted, this will be a very nice, original unrestored survivor.
