Vehicle Description
The modifications made prior to my purchase: Camero front clip and rear end, 305 small block, TH700R4 transmission with Lokar shifter, and the upholstery which was new at the time.
It now has electronic ignition, new 4-barrel carb, radiator is re-cored, transmission was rebuilt/repaired, new fuel lines, new fabricated gas tank, everything was gone through and refurbished. I am not a mechanic so I had the work done by Terry's Auto in Olympia; I've used Terrys for decades.
It's been parked in its own stall in my dry storage building and has been heated.
As noted above, the body and paint are in reasonable condition though there are some glitches. I installed a period-correct bumper and emblem and had the bumper and bumper guards re-chromed. I get lots of positive comments from young and old. I encourage the youngsters to touch and 'pretend drive.' They love it.
