Vehicle Description
One repaint, using original color scheme, has this 41 yr old girl looking stunning in gold with brown trim and black fenders. Chrome accessories look bright and shiny, and those taillights! Running boards and accents are just grand. Paint on the undercarriage is original and showing only a bit of surface oxidation, no rust was discovered on this lovely roadster.
It is just stunning. Tan upholstery with black accessories complement the gold painted surfaces. Simple Shay designed dash gauge and Ford steering column finish the dash. And the rumble seat brings the party to four when cruising sunny days.
The heart of these replica Model A’s was the collaboration between Henry Shay and FoMoCo. 2300c.c 4 cyl motor drives the Mustang II chassis through a 4 speed manual. Suspension is again; all modern Ford using rack and pinion steering plus front disc’s and drum rear.
Just a few paint flaws in an otherwise superb vehicle.
