Used 04 Mercury Sable for sale in MA

Bought this car June 27, 2020 for $2500. I cleaned up the interior considerable and it is in great condition outside of the interior frame cover where the windshield meets the driver seat window has fall off. I have the piece just haven't attempted to reattach it. Exterior is worn cosmetically but no structural issues; just scuffs in the paint and a scratch on the driver side back seat door. Surprisingly decent with gas mileage considering the age and engine. Drives very smoothly. Frankly I love this car, and am a bit sad to part with it. I am selling because the engine flywheel that connects to the starter was missing teeth and over time it becomes harder and harder to start as more teeth break off. I did not want to fix it but if you got it fixed or had the capabilities to fix it yourself it would be a FANTASTIC car to own, no other issues with it. I do not have to code for the PIN lock on the driver door but if you can manage a reset of it then it would work fine. Also, it has an automatic starter, just hit the lock button so you hear the lock alarm go off twice then it will start. I imagine I would've had this car at least for the remaining 5 years of grad school had this not been an issue. All leather interior with sunroof. Powered driver seat. Multi disc loader in trunk with screws and a spare (relatively worn but still good) starter in the trunk. No bluetooth radio but I have a cassette to lightening cable adapter that I will give you so you can play music from an iPhone over the car speakers which have surprisingly great sound quality for how old it is. At the time this car was new it was a very luxurious car so it hasn't aged as poorly as some other cars. I put 4 new, all weather 65,000 mile Firestone tires on it when I got the car, costing me $557, I have the receipt. It passed inspection July 6th 2020, I have the receipt. Excise tax for 2020 was $30, I have the receipt. Clean title. I have 2 copies of registration. All said and done I put about $3400 into it, but given the repair that I know needs to be made I feel that $1200 is a fair price; however I am flexible. Please contact me by email or text.
