Vehicle Description
Numbers matching Southern California car with straight body and no rust, reconditioned vinyl top, chrome and trim, grille, polished and in great shape. Sable Black exterior paint good and original clean red leather interior with minimal wear, dash and door panels no cracks or chips, trim great shape. Interior panels, seats, carpet thoroughly steam cleaned and detailed, headliner like new. All the dirty work has been done – most everything mechanical on this car is new, rebuilt or reconditioned. - Over 100 hours of labor and $7500 invested in new parts, have receipts. New HEI ignition, New tires, battery & cables, starter, voltage regulator, brakes and hoses, master cylinder, shocks, belts, hoses, alternator, completely rebuilt transmission and new torque converter, governor & CV Axles and boots, new oil, water & power steering pumps, rebuilt steering box and new hoses, suspension with all new bushings, tie-rods, shocks (including transverse shock) ball joints, front and rear wheel bearings and idler arm. Fuel tank purged with new sending unit, EVAP lines and rewired. Undercarriage, trunk and wheel wells cleaned and repainted with rubberized paint, looks new. Body and engine harnesses re-wired with new fuses and relays. All interior and new exterior (LED) parking lights and electrical (radio, windows, power seat, blower motor, wipers.even the clock) works. Original 500 CID motor cleaned inside and out, new rocker, pviot arms and pushrods HEI ignition, tuned up, painted, flushed and cleaned with new fluids, all new gaskets throughout motor and 3 rebuilt motor mounts, harmonic balancer, fan & clutch, exhaust manifolds, carb rebuilt with new vacuum lines and distributor. New weatherstrip on door/ roof rails and trunk. Engine compartment steam cleaned and detailed, looks factory new. Have about $500 of used parts that goes with the car, good for core deposits or rebuild. Also have some NOS parts including RH passenger mirror.
Car was appraised in 2016 @ $16,000 BEFORE all this work completed and parts added. Needs trunk trim and seal, trunk lock badge, door seals, seat foam and AC recharge. Paint is a 5 out of 10, but if I fixed those items I'd be asking $35K. Other than those items this car is reconditioned, functional, ready to drive and turn heads!
REASONABLE OFFERS ACCEPTED, no tire kickers please ! This car is not a trailer queen, but its nicer than just a daily driver as it has all the mechanical work and restoration done vs. the others asking high teens for a car that needs most everything replaced. Its a Cadillac so it has most options except cruise control and trunk opener.
