Used Almost a Classic! 1992 BMW 525i Super Low miles! - cars & trucks -... for sale in Naples, FL

This soon to be classic is a rare low mileage 28 year old model manufactured in the Dingolfing plant in July 23, 1991, one of the last models assembled by hand before they turned into robotics. If I recollect correctly I am the third owner of this car, it has been my second car for a couple of years, it is in great mechanical condition and starts right up with no issues, transmission is smooth with no hesitations, and it has ice cold A/C.

Yearly average mileage for this car has been of only 3,362 miles, only 280 miles per month!

The dashboard has no cracks, sunroof works and headliner is firm.

I purchased the car from a German gentleman a few years back and have done preventive maintenance, replacing parts that by mileage or age were recommended to address.

There are a few dings in the trunk from a small branch that fell during a storm and the car will need paint or a wrap as most of the clear-coat is now gone, I also believe that at some point the rear driver side door was worked on as was the trunk as they present a different pattern of clear-coat loss. Door panels need to be re-glued or re-done and the leather is in exceptionally good shape for its age with no rips or tears, except from a small rip on the driver's armrest. The driver's window stopped working recently and the passenger window needs some use as it hesitates to act, but once starts it goes up and down with no issues, both rear windows work well. In both cases the relay makes a clicking noise so I assume the driver's motor may have quit or there may be an electrical problem with it.

Things I have replaced in the last 2 years include: new alternator, battery, water pump, radiator, thermostat, vacuum hoses, heater water hose, mass air flow sensor, air intake boot, oxygen sensor, rear brakes, shocks, control arms, fuel filter, A/C blower resistor, driver side door seal, interior LED lights, and upgraded the sound system.

I have tried to keep this car as close to OEM as possible using Mahle, Mann and Bosch parts and Pentosin fluids, oil changes have been performed using Amsoil Dominator® 15W-50 Synthetic Racing Oil.

Engine is a 2.5 liter M50B25 I-6 and has an automatic transmission.

Sound system includes a Pioneer high-end head unit DEH-80PRS, a/d/s component speakers 336is and 335is with an a/d/s 312rs sub, powered by an old-school 5 channel Soundstream MC245.

At this price I will include additional spare parts including 16" BMW Basket-weave rims, replacement headlights, door clips, a new muffler/resonator, additional ECU/DME, and other suspension parts. Car drives great, accelerates fast, drives and brakes straight, has no strange sounds, and tires are in good shape but will need to be changed because of age showing some hairline cracks on the walls.

I am sorry to see it go, my kid wanted me to save it for him when he turns of age but I need some funding for more pressing projects. I can remove the sound system and come down in price, I will consider reasonable and serious offers. I will be posting additional pictures.
