Vehicle Description
THE GOOD:
- The Engine. It starts every time and runs very well. I relocated from the Bay Area a few months back and drove it up here no problem. I took it to a trusted local shop before the drive for a checkup and was told the engine was in great shape. I still spent ~$1,000 on all new brakes and some minor suspension work. I also had AAA replace the battery in August this year ($140).
- Condition. Besides a few door dings that happened years ago some painting fading from the sun, the cars in good shape. It has very comfortable leather seats and nice interior. Has a working sun/moon roof as well.
THE BAD:
- I recently just broke the trunk clip during my move. It’s a weighted trunk anyway so the trunk always stays closed, however it does not lock. Will have to get a new lock for it.
- Has an electrical short that keeps making the dashboard lights go out. It will go in and out while driving. The fuse just needs replacing.
- When starting the car, sometimes the car likes to “rev” or kind of sputter, but will always continue running and work fine. This only happens in park when starting the car (occasionally). Once you shift to drive, the car will work and sound fine.
I have all the paperwork from work done on the car (last 5 years or so). I’ve always been on top of getting anything fixed if needed, however this car has always run like a champ.
