Engine is almost original. I had the water pump replaced 2 years ago.
Car runs perfect and can be driven anywhere today.
Inspection is good through January of 2022 but you’ll probably have to get it reinspected to transfer the title.
We purchased this car, new, in 2002 at a Pontiac dealership in southern Pennsylvania. This was right after we heard GM was closing the Pontiac dealerships and discontinuing the Pontiac line. This is our second Firebird so we wanted to get one before they disappeared. We have owned it ever since.
The unfortunate bad news. In 2012, I was in a fender bender in northern Virginia and it messed up the front bumper and hood. The airbags did not deploy. The USAA adjuster thought the frame was bent. HE WAS WRONG. There was nothing wrong with the frame. USAA would not stop their action to total the car. I kept the car and had it completely repaired like new. For this, I was screwed by USAA and got a salvage title for our car. It was my wife’s “baby” so I was going to fix the car, no matter what it cost. I have the pics of the damage somewhere. If you’re serious, I can find them and show them to you.
This car can be driven anywhere in the US today! It drives straight and true. I was driving this car every day to north Austin from Cedar Creek before Covid hit. My wife has a new car now and we just don’t need this one anymore. Its been sitting in my shop, covered, since covid hit. I pulled it out and rinsed it off for the pics you see.
We’re asking $6000.00 cash. Don’t bother me with low ball offers. Don’t bother me unless you’re serious.
