283CI V8, rebuilt Power Pack heads with hardened seats and 1.94 oversized intake valves, Crane 272/272 duration - .454/.454 lift cam, Summit high rise manifold, Quadrijet carb w/divorced choke, ceramic long tube headers with Flowmaster mufflers, Turbo 350 transmission w/shift kit, HEI ignition, aluminum radiator w/electric fan, chrome valve covers, new brakes and lines, new shocks (air shocks in rear), new alternator, new fuel pump, newer fuel tank and new sending unit, low mileage Cooper Cobra tires (215/75R14 front and 255/60R15 rear), chrome Keystone wheels, AM/FM/Cassette radio with dash and kick panel speakers.
Body on restoration 2019. Body is perfect, straight, and no rust. Paint is perfect with no dings, chips, scratches, or runs. Chrome and stainless trim and emblems are new. Bed and tailgate are perfect with a custom fit rubber mat. New bench seat cover and foam, door panels, knobs, mirrors. Custom El Camino carpeted floor mats. 3 point seat belts and headrests added for safety during restoration.
This beautiful classic Elco has been garage kept, and only driven occasionally in nice weather since the restoration. Everything operates properly.
